Before WW1 the "peace movement" was larger than ever. Huge numbers of women had joined various groups that had pretty much been a "boys club" before.
The minute WW1 actually broke out? Every single woman suddenly left those movements and advocated for enlistment. (Maybe not ALL of them, but most!)
Not just France and UK, USA too.
They jumped off the bandwagon en masse and right onto the one moving the opposite direction. Hivemind on display. Thus is feminism.
