If you watch this clip of Erika Kirk and don't think she's part of a propaganda operation, I don't know what to tell you (twitter.com)

We have two contradictory claims. One of them must be wrong, but I'm not going to assume that Erika is necessarily the one who was wrong. She might be, but I'm not going to blindly believe anyone who says anything about this matter.

There's no realistic chance of Frank Turek just lying about those texts. The only option exonerating Erika is if she somehow missed the texts.

Just keep in mind the human.

I have an open mind, but I'll need to verify before I trust.

You sure? Why do you think there's no realistic chance of Turek lying but every realistic chance of his wife lying?

Don't trust, but also don't trust the crazy. These are serious accusations.

Because Turek has no motive to lie about that, it was a very specific statement, and he said it twice.

Erika has a clear motive for downplaying any portents of doom because those obviously fuel conspiracy talk, which she wants to smother. Also, it contradicts her widely reported story about holding fervent prayer sessions to combat a literal witch coven's curse on Charlie... just before he went on tour. In other words, even she said that she was afraid for Charlie's life right before his murder.

Dangerous assumption. People in an attention economy have every motive to lie. But even if you can't think of a motive someone has to lie, doesn't mean someone doesn't have any. Also, I'd say that Erika doesn't have a motive to lie, at least much less so than random fellow allegedly texting Charlie.

Why? Unless we go full maximalist and say that she was his beard or something, shouldn't she want the people who killed him brought to justice?

Also, it contradicts her widely reported story about holding fervent prayer sessions to combat a literal witch coven's curse on Charlie...

I'd say "putting an alleged curse" is pretty different from "they're going to PHYSICALLY kill me".

Erika doesn't have a motive to throw water on conspiracy talking points? Really nigga? The president of TPUSA? Can you be honest with yourself?

I'd say "putting an alleged curse" is pretty different from "they're going to PHYSICALLY kill me".

At 5:50 of this clip Megyn Kelly reports on Erika's reaction to the curses. She was "rattled" and called a priest over to the house specifically to pray over Charlie the night before the murder. In other words, this was a Big Deal.

Now you might say "'rattled' doesn't mean fear of physical harm"... I hope I don't have to spell it out for you.
