I've been a fan of Disney's Prep and Landing Christmas series since the 2009 original and the 2010, 2011 sequels. Imaginative and well thought out stories of a couple of elves that prep houses for Santa's landing.
So, this year, 2025, they decided to do another episode... and, dear GOD it follows all the tropes of modern storytelling - The two main characters are now background characters to a female lead that was a main/background character in the original. The story has almost 0 to do with Christmas and, the main story has to do with the,, now, secondary female character, having a love interest with a yoga instructor, cucking the main character and, oh, the yoga instructor has a ton of student loans.
It was just... awful... Disney-corp standard.
Glad I didn’t watch. The first two P&L’s are classics, shame they wanted to ruin it all.
Good lord you can't make this shit up. Disney needs to purge like 80% of their staff at this point
