A bit like I wouldn't trust a kid who says Trump is going to ruin the world, even if they're probably right. Kids are not smart enough to know any better than what their parents tell them, and people basically pimping out their kids' mind for political traction are abhorrent.

I don't believe the story. I think the parents coached the kid for Internet points and possible right wing grifter fame.
