For the establishment it still carries too much of a genetic taint of KCD1, which was the biggest nazi white supremacist success in years for the sin of daring to depict an all white region in an all white era. It was shut out of the Game Awards in 2018. Remember that industry unpersoning for not including black people, which Vavra and the cucks now pretend never happened?
KCD2's barest sliver of defence was that 'yOuRe JuSt PaRaNoId u nAzI', so if Vavra was suddenly and publicly welcomed into the luvvie fold for the sequel, it would make it all just a bit too obvious what happened. So this is probably a mixed outcome for Vavra.
