What racist comments has he made?
So I hope you can understand why I chose to stop talking to him.
Calling white ppl crackers, saying black ppl are superior to white people. Although his believe in black superiority should be enough since white supremacy is rightfully condemned. Saying things like “who cares about a whites person getting killed” in reference to that lady on the subway. I know he would freak out if someone said the same thing in reverse.
This is exactly the type of speech I’d condemn.
Considering I made it pretty clear earlier that skin color isn’t a determining factor of a persons character or worth, what made you assume that I’d support this kind of thing? This is what I mean by people jumping to extreme conclusions.
I can admit I made an assumption. In my life I’ve met some white people who seemed to be incapable of criticizing anything a black person did or said or were quick to make excuses. Like I was telling a white co-worker once that I was working on improving my credit and he said well you are black so you didn’t get much education so that isn’t your fault. I had to try not to laugh at the absurd comment but, with you I made an assumption and started to wonder if you were like that or like my distant cousin I mentioned.
Yeah you’ve been doing a lot of assuming in this conversation. Let go of hyperbole dude. It’s hurting your information processing. I’m not your cousin or your coworker. When you wonder if I am, wait and gather more information instead of just assuming that I am.
