True its basically a female fantasy trope, "taming the monster". Its so played out and pathetically unrealistic. Yet its so prevalent women in their teens well through their 60s all love it in fantasy and in real life.... unless they had an involved father and family structure in their life and did witness what good relationships look like.
"Taming the monster" is also unrealistic because in reality when they finally do tame the monster they do not find him attractive anymore. Its a self defeating fantasy in reality.
