I've been trying to build a fully featured scale model of the Holocoaster but every time I try to run it the first batch of jews go right into the furnace as described in the documentation, but when the next batch arrives instead of being launched into the furnace properly they hit the first cart and undershoot the oven and then I have to put the jews in by hand, clear the pile up and reset the whole thing.
You have to build the needlessly expensive, complex and failure-prone mechanism that runs the cart backward to reset it. They patched it in the later Holocoaster Tycoon sequels.
