I’ve had a mod saved for a long time called Live another Life where you aren’t tied to the Dragonborn’s storyline and you can live as a farmer or whatever (I think there are a few options of where you start). Haven’t tried it yet because I’m still exploring new areas. What kind of playthroughs have yall done?
I’ve done one where I only walk everywhere, where I stay with the companions and rid myself of the werewolf curse, where Serana and I make money clearing bandits and building mansions, and I may try a play through using only magic.
Also the mod where you restore the original civil war plans is fun. Very time consuming though because you can lose territory that you have conquered in real time
Conjuration was always fun for me. No need for weapon smithing, AND can summon familiars. I can't recall if soul trapping was tied to that too, and soul trapping made for some amazing Enchanting (Especially if you get that daedric artifact, the White Star I believe).
Also, for those that don't know LAL, while you don't start with the same intro, you do get to access the Dragonborn storyline the moment you get near the fort, watching Alduin fly away after scorching the place.
The first time I did LAL I did see Aldon fly away and I stupidly went and investigated and did the main quest line. I need to ignore it next time
