They are supposed to be Christian, they've built their brand on their Christian beliefs. But like so many their Christianity ends when Biblical truths collide with the modern progressive West.
Their religion is liberalism. It masks itself in the skin suit of Christianity but when the chips are down, they will side with whatever MSNBC/whatever says that day.
