Remember when Silent Hill was about (simplifying a lot here) about running around a scary place and getting spooked? I saw this game has a hack and slash style fighting mechanic or something, just doesn't seem right for a Silent Hill game to me.
Any combat system in a Silent Hill game should be actively disempowering the player, otherwise it's missing the point.
