From a poll published in Israeli Hayom, a Hebrew language newspaper run by Miriam Adelson - the Israeli dual citizen who gave Donald Trump hundreds of millions in campaign contributions.
The article is also in Hebrew, which is why it is strikingly honest on what the Israeli public believes.
For example, 62.5% of respondents said that a terrorist should be killed even if he poses no danger, and 60.6% of the public does not support interrogating soldiers regarding the abuse of Palestinian detainees.
Recently, there was a great scandal in Israel over the apparent rape of a prisoner in a detention facility. Not because of the rape, but because the video got leaked, which is of course much worse. The people opposing interrogating soldiers over the abuse of prisoners may well have been thinking of that.
"In the event of rocket fire on the Israeli population by one or more of the Palestinian organizations in Gaza, should heavy fire be carried out on Palestinian population centers in order to burn into their minds the cost of the provocation?" 55.3% responded that they agree or somewhat agree. 41.5% responded that they do not agree much or do not agree at all.
This is very interesting, because I was assured that Israel is the most moral country in the world, and that they do not intentionally target civilians.
Regarding the question of whether, in the event of a suspected capture of a building or tunnel opening, a Palestinian citizen can be sent to inspect the location so as not to endanger IDF soldiers, 36.8% of the Jewish public responded that they strongly agree and 17% that they somewhat agree. In other words, 53.8% of the Jewish public agreed. 41.2% of the public indicated that they disagree or somewhat disagree.
There have been instances where Palestian civilians were forced to inspect locations that Israeli troops thought were booby-trapped. And then they were released - but then killed them shortly afterwards. Dead men tell no tales.
Here we have the majority of Jewish Israelis endorsing this practice, even as their leaders tell the world that they just had to destroy 90% of Gaza because Khamas had a tunnel system greater than the New York subway.
The survey also shows that 65% of the Jewish public believe that maintaining the purity of weapons (avoiding unnecessary killing and harming innocent people) prevents the IDF from fulfilling its missions
A good thing to remember when they make arguments in English.
As much as I hate the jews I'd absolutely consider a child throwing a rock at a tank to be an enemy combatant, rocks can cause damage to fragile components like cameras and gunsights or become lodged somewhere inconvenient, the rock could have just have easily been an anti-tank weapon, and the kid should have been shot before even entering throwing distance because of it, not only that but if a kid is close enough to throw a rock he's also close enough to have a good shot at being able to crawl under the tank and blow himself up if he's a suicide bomber.
Very unexpected from someone with that username.
Israelis would love you.
Faling to rescue them because the brainwashing is too complete, I'd at least try and make the end as painless as possible. It's not the child's fault they were press-ganged into a suicide cult owned by the military-industrial complex. Some of them know they're being herded into being killed for PR and try to escape.
Those who manage to escape islam's deathgrip deserve every right to live as human beings, not as pawns for yet another forever war psyop.
