I couldn't have written it better myself. It's worth noting that Martin is very vocally anti-AI and is currently suing OpenAI for a ChatGPT generated fanfic.
I'm sure he didn't personally sign off on using it for the art but it's telling that it didn't get caught.
I suppose my underlying point is that regardless of his stated (leftist) position on AI, either through laziness and ignorance or sheer hypocricy, he has allowed his life's work to be debased and whored like the women he loves to write about. All for fame and money, neither of which will save the legacy of SoIaF.
