Are people not living substantially longer? Are dumb people able to budget more than a month out? Are houses not several times larger now?

The current home affordability crisis in the US/Canada is only 5 years old at most. In the mid-2010s you could get a good property in most places for $200k or less. How much longer do you think people are living or stupider they're budgeting in the last 5 years? How much bigger do you think the houses got?
Are you confined in a locked closet from which you can only apprehend the outside world through legends from your parents?

The point of a 50-year mortgage is an emergency infusion of new buyers in the market that will continue the exponential increase in home pricing. The point is to continue the bubble at all costs, because a pop is unthinkable. Therefore everyone should be opposed to a 50-year for that reason as well. Learn economics, retard.
And yes, the logical extension of this is a 75 and 100 year mortgage. Japan went to exactly those lengths to try to stop their markets from cratering.
