If a single bad interview is all it takes to get guys to do this hysterical, performative shit where they swear they're never voting again, there's no difference between Trump and Harris, MAGA is dead, they're going to bring in 100 million Indians now, etc, they would have either blown their heads off or started HRT if they'd been paying attention to politics after "only Rosie O'Donnell" or the Access Hollywood tape.
If this were the only time Trump was weak on immigration, which was the main issue that got him elected in the first place, then you'd have a good point there. Unfortunately, no, it's not a single interview.
If you can look at what's going on and decide that "weak" is the adjective to describe Trump's immigration policy then you'd also argue that grass isn't green if it suited you.
He's only strong on illegal immigration. Meanwhile, we are being replaced legally in the nation our forefathers built and he's out here bragging about how he's streamlined the replacement.
If that's your take, not sure what else there is to talk about, really.
