Speaking of that top one, and it's mostly because it's fresh in my mind after finishing Darryl Cooper's first episode on the Germans, but I feel like we're right back at the end of WW1, and about to feel the punch back from extremists like the Bolsheviks.
Everyone is so pissed off and desperate that the extremists, whether that's more similar to the Bolsheviks or the NatSocs, may be welcomed in with open arms. It's very worrying. The current system does not seem sustainable, and people will rally around anyone who provides an alternative.
We may actually see the US succumb to communism or fascism within a decade. I've never been one of those "civil war is coming" people, but I'm getting pretty worried about the direction we're heading in.
They destroy the world to gain more power? Yeah, this is a common short term move that always backfires long term.
