Prompted by a comment over on PDW about the insane racial and gender makeup of Minnesota government.
There is one straight white guy on the Minneapolis city council, and he is a progressive boomer.
There is one young white male in the Minneapolis mayor’s cabinet, and he uses they/them pronouns.
In neighboring Saint Paul, the entire city council is female. There is one white woman, and she is a communist.
The Twin Cities are 72% white. Probably 35% white male. If it’s like anywhere else in the west, those white men probably pay 95% of taxes.
At what point are we looking directly at a “taxation without representation” situation? It was so important that all of these women and people of color be given positions of authority so that they can represent their race/gender as a constituency. Now these major American cities have almost no political representation for over a third of the population who are also paying for almost everything.
The anti-white, anti-male identity politics of the left are just a thinly veiled justification for industrial scale theft. The left wing alliance have voted themselves into the government offices of professional looting.
And by what means does that involve? How do you see us doing that? There is no voting our way out of this. Only the club, the axe, the gun.
I think the most consequential war will happen within the Republican party, with the donors, think tanks, and pundits. If that gets shut down then nobody knows what's going to happen.
In my opinion the most likely scenario for civil war is the bomb, not clubs or guns. See the IRA or the Weather Underground.
I am thinking more Rome's occupation of Britain. Lots of guerilla warfare, the empire retreating as things turn to shit at home. Pockets of the GAE here, pockets of dissident Americana here, etc. Kind of what we have already but nobody has truly gone guerilla yet. And the right still struggles to get any real leadership, as every pretty and charming actor is quickly bought out by the GAE or always been a member. The right will have to learn to pick less charming business man or more of a Patton or a El Salvador man to actually get someone in charge.
For that to happen, a significant part of the military will have to defect. Not out of the question I suppose.
