I finished high school in VA in the late 90s. It was a reliable red state then. I guess a lot of ppl from MD moved in along with federal workers and immigration. Have lived most of my life in Oklahoma and Texas (living in TX since 04) and my area is still red but nothing is safe
Everything around the beltway is an impenetrable sea of blue, composed of foreigners and out of towners come to make their fortune in DC before leaving again. Northern Virginia is the population center and it is no longer made up of Virginians. It's awful.
Northern VA, the areas surrounding DC, is an entirely different culture than the rest of the state. Northern VA was reliably blue in the 90s since most of the people there worked directly for the government or as contractors once removed. The rest of the state, barring Richmond and Hampton Roads/Norfolk is red, its just that now there are more people in Northern VA that cancel out the rest of the state's vote.

That’s a shame. Well I can hold the line in Texas
No. You can’t. Elections do not exist. Your votes are not counted. The only demographic in Texas creating children is nonwhites.
I’d hate to think that. But it does cross my mind
Lol demoralization propaganda.
Anywhere not white turns Democrat basically. The problem is the Republicans don't represent white interests despite whites being their voting bloc.
Why are you internalizing your enemies’ worldview?
