It would seem, to me at least, that Python didn't require the money if they are to say that any hires could be considered DEI instead of best person for the role.
If anything Python have just said that everyone who could be considered to call under the umbrella of DEI is incapable of a role based on their own merit.
Really makes you think who is the prejudice ones here and who really needs grant funding based on existing laws which make it illegal to be prejudice towards someone on phenotypes.
