Casting darkness over light represents "magic"; which draws in more light "gathering" around darkness. The suggestion that April is black instead of white tempts those who consent to gather within a conflict of reason (black vs white)....that's magic the gathering applied in reality, while distracting with fiction.
Hacking implies setting apart (analysis); while reasoning implies coming together (synthesis)...few synthesize many to be able to analyze aka hack them.
Resource implies ones response (perception) to source (perceivable)...not to one another's suggestions. If one consent to a suggestion, then one estimates from under another one aka a chosen one.
