They're trying to keep it out of public view.... blah blah blah
The police are operating with more transparency in that case than they normally do. Your associating the media, leftwing activists, the defense attorneys, the judges in Derek Chauvin's case, and the media in regards to Iryana's case... with this police departing in relationship to this murder.
Okay then tell me how you smuggle a full sized hunting rifle through a packed campus with only the clothes on your back and a backpack without anyone noticing. And without it being visible in the security footage.
Who says that's what's happened? He clearly left the weapon in a drop-off point, he could have placed it in a drop-off point at a different time too. He seems to have even been smart enough to not try and get past the police cordon until it cleared, so there's some planning here that isn't as simple as "he disassembled it and carried it in his asshole". I don't have a clear answer as to how he got the rifle there because I don't have all the evidence yet, and you've managed to convince yourself from your own speculation about what must have happened.
When 'Tyler' ran away on the roof he wasn't carrying a rifle
Looks to me like he was carrying it in a bag.
Despite literally the entire media landscape running with the disassembly story
No, just your media landscape. What you are consuming. That's the whole problem. Shit's getting injected that hasn't been established. I've seen people saying, "well where's the screwdriver he needs to disassemble the rifle???"... Who told you you need to disassemble a rifle with a screwdriver, some don't need them. I haven't used a modern Mauser, but old Mauser's just used to have pins and latches. People are injecting shit which has never existed. That's not semantics, it's "playing a game of telephone".
Because his murder was livestreamed and filmed by multiple people. The little hard evidence we have wasn't given to us by the FBI. None of the murder footage was released to us by the FBI. All of it was either livestreamed or released by private individuals. Stop being disingenuous.
That's entirely my point. This shit doesn't normally get released even before the murderer is caught. You're used to police body cam footage getting released the same day to prevent riots. That's not the norm. Usually you don't see this shit until -after- the trial ends. This is more transparency than most cases ever get.
Why did the FBI release cropped and cut footage of him running on the roof and jumping down but not the rest of that particular video?
I literally answered it. Seems like it's an abnormally long-width security video that wouldn't fit on a normal screen. Seems like they were showing the video that would most help in getting people to locate the shooter because that's when it was released as I recall.
You are pretending that is a close and shut case that Tyler killed Charlie despite having no hard evidence for it whatsoever.
The gun, the confession, and turning himself in is the most hard evidence any crime could possibly have; even if you don't think it's correct or there's more to the story: don't pretend there isn't hard evidence.
