These fuckers are going to continue to abuse and take advantage of customers by making subscription services the only way forward and then pull shit like this at the drop of a hat. It's going to be universal and ubiquitous. This is why it's morally correct to pirate every single thing with reckless abandon until they change their fucking attitude and to mitigate your headaches. I only buy games that are both good and created by people/studios that aren't cucked, which means I've largely only bought indie games for the past decade or so.
