I'm no NAZI sympathizer but I do wonder if there will be a time when the war and Germany will be discussed in a more nuanced view than pure evil incarnate for no reason at all.
For awhile the South seemed to be covered pretty fairly, then the CRT shit happened and they became deliberately evil slave holders hurting black people for the fun of it
Protecting your nation from a violent communist takeover is not evil. There is absolutely no reason not to sympathize with men who fought back against commies successfully and then were mass murdered by the entire western world just for doing what was in the interest of self preservation.
So conquering most of Europe in a pointless and bloody war was just "what was in the interest of self preservation"? Protecting their nation from a violent communist takeover requires them conquering France and bombing the shit out of England (who had practically already been defeated)?
Self preservation against communists was why that party gained power. After that it was all revanchism, taking back land lost at Versailles(which was still full of Germans), until France and England responded to the German and Soviet invasion of Poland by declaring war on only Germany.
