Just to be even more clear and to address his core thesis directly: it doesn't matter if this is in fact a blatant intentional psyop. These people exist, whether organic or brainwashed, and need to be dealt with. He should be glad we're just getting them fired at the moment.
I remember a guy that sort of looked like him on various social media sites who kept claiming to be some big CIA type. He always had brave stories and also knew basic information about people who said he wasn't who he said hew as.
Then it turned out his IP was Chinese. Don't know if it's the same guy, but it's reminding me of him.
I chronically spend way too much time online and I've never even heard this dude's name in passing, so yeah that tracks.
