The flow does seem to be unnatural. The general in-group preference and out-group antipathy means the eventual dislike by community temperature isn't unexpected, but the general flow of it, the leap lacking any particular catalyst, is unusual for sure.

It's been a year of building racial tensions, protests and riots, with Indians not being one of the protected ones like jews and the latinx lot. I'm not surprised at a preference cascade against dot indians.
