This guy would be a dipshit or travelling internationally with any kind of printed pornography, but who knows if this is even actually porn or actually a child. Juries often aren't even allowed to see it, the rely on "expert witnesses".
I remember looking at those maps of sex offenders. Actual rapist of a child less than five was convicted and already out 9 months later on the map, no idea how long served. Seen convictions of people who produced child porn who served no time.
People who have possession of child porn who get multiple years.
Now this crap with something an "expert witness", as though being an expert on whether a cartoon is a child or not is even possible, claims looks like a child and looks like abuse.
The punishments seem inversely proportional to how much the perpetrator actually abused a child.
Almost like the system is meant to protect child abusers as much as possible while throwing scraps to the masses to say they are doing something about it.

Considering they're saying "anime," I'd bet, at any odds demanded, that it did not involve an actual child.
I'm also assuming it wasn't physical, but you never know.
anime images of child sexual abuse.
Unless you've got some 1-1 tracing of real events going on, this is a straight up contradiction in terms. Animes are not children, or even human.
Juries often aren't even allowed to see it, the rely on "expert witnesses".
That's fucking evil, man. Imagine getting convicted because some expert said you possessed CSAM for watching a fucking anime. We're not quite there, yet, as far as I know, but it gets closer and closer. I won't be shocked if and when it does happen. Probably in Australia, Canada, or the UK, but possibly even in America.

It's wild how lenient the system is on the worst criminals, while they go hard on the people they know can't fight back...often literal retards. Both the possessors and abusers should rot, but it's still atrocious that they go after the lowest hanging fruit, with the lowest IQ, while letting the most dangerous and pernicious abusers run free. Anarcho-tyranny.

I meant not even a cartoon of a child, but them just subjectively saying it looked like one.

Texas passed a law recently on this matter that probably makes possessing certain chapters Bleach and Dragonball a felony, because of a single panel where Ichigo looks like he might be sleeping with his hand on his crotch. And in an early chapter of Dragonball, Goku, (then still a child recently rescued from living alone, or with his adopted Grandpa,in the forest for his entire life) is told that men and women differ from each other in the groin, and he pats someone on the groin to tell which one they are before being chastised for it.

In this case the guy looked like a crackhead. And it wasn't overturned like the recent zombie looking guy, because it said he was convicted and sentence served. Law schools seem to churn out people who sympathize with rapists more than the average normal person for some reason. Never quite figured it out, but it seemed to start in the 50s. Before the 70s when the supreme courts moratorium on the death penalty, many states had the death penalty for both adult and child rape. When the death penalty was taken of the table, for some reason instead of going to life sentences they went to relatively soft sentences.

It does seem that way sometimes.
