Older lore was a lot more involved and shows how the player base is really only interested in surface level whedonesk bullshit. Races can’t have definitive traits because that racist. So now every race is gay humans.

Old lore described goliaths culture, even gave them their own sport, made the look like strange rock people, and had a palm reading unique to them paced on rock like bumps on their skin.

New lore has them be mildly attractive albino people that live in a mountain.
