EDIT: And just to be clear, this isn't even a value judgement. This isn't "Nazis good." This is...post war was a massive cultural tipping point, where I'd argue power was seized from the previous order, and a new world order emerged. Basically everyone back then had more in common with the midcentury Germans than they would with....wherever we are now. That's not praise for the Germans, but it's absolutely fucking a condemnation on Modernity, if you will.
We've had a series of covert coups over the years, and '45 was one of them. A big one, that helped lead to the ones that followed.
None are more cursed than the kinslayer.
It's not even about sides, everyone lost their way in the aftermath, as power was transferred, and traitors and subversives thrived.
This isn't one side good, one side bad. I think the victors were subverted too, and an empire that never should have existed was formed, hurting everyone. All sides were hurt.
