From what I can tell he's 14, right? He's acting like a frustrated 14 year old that's starting to figure things out about what's going on around him. Expecting high level adult thinking isn't reasonable. Hopefully he's one that can come around.

Honestly the more zoomers I interact with, they really aren't that bad. I like them a lot better than millennials, and if you adjust for just teenage stupidity the zoomers have their head on a lot straighter than millennials. The ones that are super crazy trannies and what not are the ones with a super crazy parent that pushed them there.
