a test-tube baby would have sooooooooo many developmental issues, it's not even funny. Anybody on this board who has kids can tell you how many things babies need from a mothers body and are evolved to grow in the presence of that I simply cannot imagine us ever being able to replicate. The complexity is just too high. We are still figuring new stuff out about gestation that surprises specialists all the time--the role that a fathers health and age plays in placenta development was discovered just within the last 2 years and it caught the scientists by surprise. what else don't we know?
