Honestly I could see men being less susceptible to it. You're bound to get a few basket cases like that kid who killed himself over a Cersei Lannister ai telling him to "come home" but men have been getting the short end of the stick for years now and I'm sure tons of us are used to it.
Also yet another reason why I'm glad my nephews are all pretty close with each other. That way they'll still have actual human beings to interact with if they don't find any gfs.
I don't have kids, never really found the right lady I guess. But being the family's designated babysitter gave me a lot of time to spend with my sister's boys.
It's a wonder what good role models and a tight knit family can do for a kid. Sure, they've gotten on my nerves at times, but I wouldn't give up the time I spent with them for anything.
