If people had a genuine interest in advancing civilization to the point where we were not just occupants (not sure if that is the ideal word..) of planet Earth we would accept without any intended malice that people are in fact quite different and we would allow a long arc of human personal choices to organically weed out those that lack the material to advance us to a solar system traveling civilization (and maybe beyond at some point) or at least terraform what we have available to us.
What I'm saying here is that by picking certain groups for artificial uplifting we are significantly dragging down the most capable among humanity for actually advancing humanity (like crabs in a pot), in fact human civilization is now on a reverse trajectory because of this. It's insanely stupid.
While Earth's resources are fantastic they are not indefinite or unlimited. We need to use what we have with the wisdom of a long future in mind.
In short, eugenics is not wrong, and the proliferation of human productivity inherently means demarcating the lessers from the greaters if we want to see the true capabilities of man's ingenuity and productivity.
It was one of the things Ayn Rand did manage to get right about how universal altruism would limit the possibilities of man's potential advancement.
This is long the position I've held as long as it is organic. Anything other than organic it becomes crimes against humanity.
And it needs to be noted that it also has a reverse context, when you artificially prop up a people who for whatever reason make bad long term choices either personally or collectively, you are practicing net negative eugenics or dysgenics. The egalitarian doesn't understand this and the master planner deliberately uses it as a weapon.
The state paying child support is a crime against humanity.
It is and it is deliberate as well.
It's my theory most people inherently know the truth behind eugenics is correct but abhor an implementation which harms, rather than just separates, the weeded. That's why voluntary sterilization is so highly praised in the west today. For example, how many of these have you seen promoted recently: Growing old alone and playing video games or engaging in other frivolous behavior, "becoming trans", having abortions, or couples just choosing to have no or few kids.
The people doing the believe god wants them to "heal", meaning homogenize and unify, the human race while they get to rule over the result. There is no advancement for the human race in their concept of the future, only pacification.
