The Gish gallop refers to bringing up a whole bunch of arguments in quick succession so that your opponent won't be able to respond to them all. The term was invented by trust-the-science Eugenie Scott who was butthurt that evolutionists were losing debates to creationist Duane Gish, but it's useful to be aware of the tactic.
