Thanks to Affirmative Action and most DEI policies that's really how a lot of places operate once you get above the entry level.

They won't say no to the white guys directly for being white, but they will happily waste their time to make it seem like their pet nigger/woman totally beat out all these qualified candidates and they worked so hard searching out quality hires for their boss/business.
