Alot of appalchians moved to the city during the 1930's and again a few times later. Alot of jews lived there to I guess, helping run the systems used to exploit the locals and their resources in nearby kentucky and places.

Its definetly a crazy place, but most of the people there seem to like living there. I spent alot of time lurking their sub, because its one of the places im looking to move back too.

If I could get my health issues resolved, alaska is on the list too lmao.
