My understanding is they have no mechanism which will let them call an election before 2029. If that's true this is all irrelevant anyways, the damage they're going to do before then will be immeasurable. Even if they could have elections tomorrow, it wouldn't matter. Farage has been systematically destroying the careers of anyone on the right who would actually do anything about immigration. He has made sure that Brits don't even get a choice on the issue.
