Aarvoll and his RTTL movement have been getting tons of exposure lately. Makes one wonder if it's astroturfed.
I didn't watch the clip, but I haven't actually seen him admit the exact population numbers that he actually has settled on his land in Arkansas. All I hear is that they have a waitlist and are already full.
People always use Orania as an example it can work. But Orania is a Boer farming enclave with a pop of 2k.
2k is an awesome goal for some little ideological commune setup. But a 2k town is also completely irrelevant politically and economically unless you can franchise the model somehow (which Aarvoll is trying).
In his Fuentes interview (or maybe his one with Blonde), he said a big problem in jurisdictions outside of Arkansas is that they'll rules lawyer you on any little building code violations to shut you down.
