What's the most unfortunate for this is that the game is basically well past its peak. So its not going to be making a whole lot more money.
So Nintendo waited long enough for them to probably spend/invest the money they made off the game elsewhere and then went hard on them once they had a fraction of it left to defend themselves.
All I've learned from this and the emulation crusade they've been on is that Nintendo is actually paying attention to people memeing on them on Twitter/elsewhere and is fucking seething about it before they unleash their lawyers.
How the hell is it legal to change the wording on a patent at all, let alone during a patent lawsuit?
