The LDP have lost their majority!
This is the worst House of Councillors election result in the history of the LDP since it's formation in 1955.
They have completely lost the Right Wing vote.
It is the first time since the LDP’s founding in 1955 that they lost both houses of parliament since 1955.
Seems positive but i worry about the new "right wing party" that is rising. Sanseito party feels like another, kosher "israel first " party that won't actually get anything done and that's meant to take votes away from real nationalist alternative groups. . I find it really suspicious that they rose so fast and their leader is part of the Jewish- Yamato friendship" organization.
I hope this isn't another "Japanese Nigel Farage" situation.
BTW, id like to add that its the younger generation that is supporting Sanseito party because of their anti immigrant rhetheric. While i don't fully trust Sanseito i would like to add that bit of information because its a good thing that the younger people are so anti immigrant and not just the older people.

They'll focus on tourists and ignore hordes of muslims and Nigerians. I'll be utterly surprised if they actually do something.
So long as they keep the invasion out and kick the current Kurds and Turks out, they'll be fine.
There was a worry that Japan was only 5 years behind the west and would fall into the same hole. Seeing this and the ficus on coercion by payment processors over both media and social media (remember that otaku only dating site?), there is a chance they're AWARE of the trap and sidestepping it.
I was thinking that too often. That japan is pretty much 10 years behind the west in everything (that i care about anyway). With any luck the rightoids here are not controlled opposition and will stick to their guns.
