What evidence from a murder in 1913 could possibly exist? Even fingerprinting was barely in use at the time.

That would be the later-life confession of some factory worker that he saw Conley (the black janitor) moving Mary Phagan's body. Except everyone knew that happened already (Conley was moving the body at the direction of Leo Frank).
