Honestly if they just kept their loyalties more under the table instead of trying to be the most vocal shill they could keep public support and the bribe money, they already do this with most lobbyist groups, it's pretty much just Israel where politicians try to make a big display out of their support rather than just voting the way they're told and at most doing a bit of damage control when needed.
