None of these liberal places give a shit if some darkie has a machete or a gun that they acquired illegally. They won't bother stopping them until at least a couple Whites are dead. But a White guy carrying a handgun or a knife, and using that to neutralize and/or kill his attacker? The full weight of the government comes down on him.
Just look at what happened to Daniel Penny for doing what any reasonable man should do in a just society. The only reason he isn't rotting in jail is because enough of an uproar was made that it was politically untenable to do so.
Same thing with Kyle Rittenhouse. Textbook case of self defense, morally justified in every sense of the word, and the government still tried to crucify him, with the lawyer going as far as to violate his fifth amendment rights.
Even those in law enforcement themselves aren't safe from this if they are White. Just look at Derek Chauvin. The guy did everything by the book according to the policy of his department, and even the coroner said that he wasn't responsible for Floyd's death, but the government brought the hammer down on him too.
