That all being said, the way this has all gone down is very curious to me. If they had truly planned to cover it up all along, I don't think they would have made a fuss about the fact that they would release it.

This is the only part that makes the "coverup" seem less done and dusted as it would otherwise be. They keep bringing it up, long after people have given up hope and just moved on and doing so in a way that is so absolutely bad that they have to know it will make people talk about it more.

So that's the new question, what is the actual angle being played? If it was just a mere bury it to protect the people involved, they had already done that and most people had let it fall off the main wagon. So why keep doing this kind of play? If its a simple humiliation ritual, its way too close to the sun.
