Iran was within days of having a nuclear weapon

I have still have yet to hear anyone tell me how, and how we knew, and who's intel it was going off of.

Because it wasn't our own intel, that's for sure. At most, that said they weren't pursuing weapons, but could at any time pursue the bomb. Nowhere was there days or weeks mentioned, and even Israel said it was around a year.

It fucking blew my mind when I heard the press secretary say Iran was two weeks away.

I've said it before, but I've never seen such weird and slipshod war propaganda, ever. The wildest part is that there wasn't really any. There was no intel. There was no WMDs, there was no incubator babies. We just went from 'Iran is doing the exact same thing they've always done' to 'they basically have the bomb!' in like six seconds. Nothing was ever explained. Iran didn't do anything. The only thing that changed was Israel bombed the shit out of them right before we sat down for more negotiations.

They didn't even try to propagandize us. They just fucking lied, in an absurd fashion, right out in the open.
