I don't think men are repulsed by taller women, but it's generally hard to date a taller woman because women are repulsed by shorter men. The few who are able to pull it off find that the price is a shitty relationship dynamic and learn from experience that it's just easier to date shorter women. It's not unlike dating a woman who makes more than you: Hard to pull off and a recipe for resentment on her end.
I wouldn’t say repulsed, but even when you look at trends of dating, tall guys prefer shorter women, you could argue that has to do with female preferences, but it’s at least partially men too. Again women are the gatekeepers, their preferences matter far more than men who tend to fall into what they can get unless they are desirable by the majority of women, and when you look at what the top 20% of men are dating, it’s not women taller than them.
