I know I remember bits and pieces from when I was a kid and my dad was watching it, but I never actually sat and watched it all the way through. Great movie, and I loved the scene with John Candy in the car jamming to Mess Around by Ray Charles as well as the ending. Don't think there is any John Candy movie I don't like. Also think I will make this a Thanksgiving week tradition since there aren't that many Thanksgiving themed movies.

Oh no. They had to release that one after he was already gone because it was so bad he didn't want it out and the only way it would register with any viewers was because they missed him and might forgive it. I wonder if the alcohol was calling the shots when he took that role.
