If I was to give a theory, probably be because successful mobile games are simple, they might have intriguing story and lore built into them but the draw to them is usually one or both of these things: simple mechanics and titillation.
It's why simple farming games and clicker games are so popular or those mechanics while getting some nice tits and ass as a reward. Gives you a space to turn off your brain and rest for a while.
DEI CAN'T do that. They HAVE to insert their ideology which disables any chance to turn off your brain for a while, an in such a competitive market as mobile games, they flop so quickly that investors won't even bother financing them for mobile. Especially when they can easily get returns on a clicker that gives lewd pictures.
Crappy mobile games have to make their money from customers buying either the game or microtransactions. That means they need their customers to like the game and want to spend money on it. AAA games get a ton of money up-front from investor firms like Blackrock and Vanguard and whatever other firm Larry Fink is running this week, and Fink wants to push DEI propaganda and doesn't care about losing money.
AAA game companies don't have to worry about making money, mobile games do. It's why gacha game companies are the only ones out there who do things their players like instead of hating them.

are you telling me that blackrock and vanguard arent funding the crappy mobile games?
As far as I know they can't even find fish that small. Same thing with single-dev indie games.
