Because we aren't doing random wars because we maybe might be invaded. That in fact depletes our resources and our public support for military use.
if you have to fight on your own homeland, you've already lost. The civilians dying will be yours, the infrastructure being destroyed will be yours.
Just look at Iran and Ukraine
News flash, we are fighting on our homeland. America is being overrun with gimmigrants and foreigners. Bombing Iran has nothing to do with our actual fight.
Except that's not the kind of military invasion we're talking about. It's not a gotcha if we're talking about the military and you want to bring in illegals invading.

I remember what happened last time we went over to stop them overseas. We dropped a ton of bombs, got a bunch of our troops killed, then started bringing them over here as refugees. So nice false choice there.
