Iran would have understood that bombs were coming so they evacuated. There was clearly no enriched uranium in the strike zone.
Simultaneously, Iran can't just give in, but if they attack sites they know can defend themselves from their missiles, they can play it off to their home crowd.
Iran's actually done this before. After shooting down that Malaysian airliner, they still wanted to attack one of our bases to not look like complete retards, which they did and they warned us. Our troops literally drove 500 yards outside the base and waited for the explosions.
