It certainly does make it harder to appreciate a lot of the good stuff he's done given that he's managed to destroy a lot of goodwill after that initial promising wave.
And if he is this bad as a president, I can't imagine just how shit his successor, Democrat or Republican, will be. We might still get some ability to keep pressure on things we've been fighting for the past decade if things turn out right, but even then I can't see much good happening short of a miracle.
